I just got into Basement so I can't say if they've ever been to the US before. If they haven't then this should be a good time, right?

Did you ever listen to the Easycore band In This For Fun? They're now Basement. If you weren't aware, I don't blame you; they seem to've covered all their tracks

As far as I know, it's the same members with a new name and sound. They've jumped on the Pop Punk/Hardcore/Indie sound bandwagon, which a lot of bands have, and I dig it, but it's getting a little repetitive. I guess that's how some feel about Easycore

I'm fine with either sound as long as they aren't all trying to sound the same. Ska bands need to stop trying to be Streetlight Manifesto. Indie/pop punk band need to stop trying to be Saves The Day. Easycore bands need to stop trying to be Four Year Strong.

ya i saw that last night. it rules. WATU is on a few dates, but i'm not sure if any are around here.

Are the Lanes shows Robbie's? He sort of stopped booking at all, except for a few in Boston. I remember him telling me he wanted to start getting more pop punk shows in NJ after the WATU/SG/PTPG one.

It's going to be interesting seeing Polar Bear Club playing the Lanes. Only one show I went to there sold out (The Gaslight Anthem) but I think this might sell out.

i doubt their his. i'll probably ask him when the dates get a little closer though.
