I'm Joe 24, from the sunny south coast of the UK.
I'm new to this blog but been a huge fan of pop punk/ hardcore for years. Spend hours searching for bands old and new and have come across this blog so many times that I finally decided to join!
It's awesome to see so many people from around the world sharing such an interest in what I regard as one of the greatest and most powerful/influential genre ever

Anyway, I've liked easycore for a long time, but I've always had trouble finding new bands in the genre. Then today I found this site....

What's up dude. How's the local scene down there? A lot of venues or is it a drive to get to one?

How'd you find this site? Randomly looked up bands and found it?

Welcome Bobby, we are a pretty small community, but for the most part we are good dudes.

Fill us in on any local bands you know of that we might be into.

We have a decent hardcore scene, but not much else. The only time we really get pop-punk/easycore bands is when they're touring with a bigger hardcore/post-hardcore band

It's a pretty far drive (for me at least) to get to a venue, minimum of 30 minutes to get to Springfield, Missouri, which is only a medium-sized town. There's 4-5 venues there (one is sort of in limbo because of some regulations at the moment), but the only ones that allow stage dives and things like that are the limbo one and the other two smaller ones...

And I just Googled Easycore to find the site. I never knew it would be that simple to find out about this many good bands.
